A great read for young adults--and their moms might enjoy it, too. It is surprisingly well developed for a first novel. The story gets off to a good start, moves along in sometimes unpredictable ways and is thoroughly enjoyable. One of the strengths of the writer is her use of humor. She also has a good feel for young readers and the kinds of things that cause them angst. Consistent and readable. Give it a go.Product details

David Ghost edition by Rita Toma Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I thought it was well written and entertaining, a bit short but all in all a delight to read.
I think this is a great first novel. Rita was able to give her characters life. More importantly, I wanted to find out how the story ended and what will happen to them in the next one.
Ms. Toma wrote this charming story in the voice of a teenager who can see and communicate with ghosts. I think young adults will particularly relate to the mystery, humor, romance, and danger experienced by the teenage characters.
Rita Tome is a good author she kept me in the story every step of the way, I was like in there with the characters. I don't like the ending because i didn't want it to end.
Even though it's written for "teens" it didn't "talk down" to the reader and it held my interest. It was easy reading and I also anticipated the story while reading it. The story flowed well.
I am a reader from India and bought this book on kindle.
In the west ghost calling is considered abnormal. Back in India, it is NOT normal but some people do try . It is called planchet. Many people try and fail. However, many claim to be successful.
The author Rita Toma's debutant effort was very good. Megan moving to a new place will find resonance in an Indian's mind because we guys move a lot in search of happiness. A new place equals new enthusiasm, new tomorrow and a new chance to try and clinch what we have been missing. Meagan clinched this dormant wish in her new home.
Short story, so the pace is fast. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Rita Toma is a very good short story writer. She conceived the plot and made sure that the narrative revolved around the core plot throughout the story.
Waiting eagerly for her next effort.
Rita Toma has written a gripping mystery-thriller in which teenagers attempt to set the record straight on a murder twenty years before. In doing so, she explores the experiences of today's youth, dealing with parents, other adults, and the hormones that complicate their relationships with the opposite sex.
Read this summer adventure of Megan and her new friends in a Phoenix summer. You'll enjoy it.
