In a world full of superheroes, being the good guy is boring.
Any idiot with superpowers can be a hero, but only a genius like Rex Rogue can take on the world’s superheroes with nothing more than his cutting wits and an army of super–powered minions, mad scientists and lawyers. Superheroes beware, because Rex and his League of Teenage Supervillains would rather steal the day than save it!

But Rex is more than a simple supervillain… and sometimes it’s good to be bad.

Rex Rogue And The League Of Teenage Supervillains edition by C H Aalberry Children eBooks

Rex Rogue and the League of Teenage Supervillains is one of the most entertaining books I’ve read in a while. C. H. Aalberry started with a very interesting premise, turning the supervillain the most interesting character and making him the most likable in the book. Personally, I love when a book presents this kind of twist: when the good ones are boring and the villains are the ones you long to read about.
The storyline is funny and entertaining and offers an interesting reading into the traditional world of superheroes. There’s nothing really new about it (minions, teenagers who lash out, etc) but everything is presented in an unpretentious way, making it memorable and enjoyable. Centred on teenagers who can’t really control their emotions, creating a mess while trying to dominate the world, the book offers a solid story and Rex Rogue is a delightful character. He really isn't your traditional bad guy, he's just a superhero who is bored and wants to dominate the world. You’ll be cheering for the supervillain to win, that’s for sure. Brace yourself for some fun time and enjoy your reading.

Rex Rogue And The League Of Teenage Supervillains edition by C H Aalberry Children eBooks Reviews

I would recommend this book to everyone. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. This book was absolutely thrilling. I was so engrossed.
Loved it. Very creative. I highly recommend it.
Decent Supervillain book with a really good Boss to defeat at end. The Superheroes were two dimensional cardboard cutouts some of which turn out to be corrupted by power.
I'd like to point out a few things
1 there is no such thing as nubulium
2 my cousins brothers uncles fathers grandkid is me
and 3col aalberry knows nothing about boomarangs. He made a mistake in that regard.
I liked the book though.
ps writing a revew on kindle is hard
I found this book while looking for something that tell the story of the heel characters. I love this book! From the first chapter I was hooked and wanted read more. I liked reading about all the main characters villainous deeds and I even liked his "style" lol. If I could be a minion of anyone in the league I would have to choose Chaotica. She's just too cool and hands down my favorite character in the book. My list of things I didn't like about the book would be the errors in it but not as bad as most kindle books I read. I would also have to say that I didn't like that certain character deaths were portrayed graphically but the implied murdering of super heroes was glossed over for almost the entire league except Chaotica. But even Chaotica's murders were almost hidden behind the changing of the form permanently. It felt like the author was attempting to make them come across in a better light which shouldn't be necessary since they're villains. However I would like to say that liked Chaotica's power and don't want it to change but I think you could make the other villains a bit darker. That being said great book and I pray there will be a second book.
This was an interesting read. It revolves around Rex who is also known by Master SCREAM. He’s a well-known supervillain in the future living in Newtopia. He also has a castle he won in a card game and a whole slew of minions who do his bidding. (Some of which are lawyers which I found pretty funny) Being good gets boring and when Rex gets bored that’s when he decides to destroy stuff. Most of the superheroes even leave him alone thinking he’s some bada$$, they don’t know he’s really only a bored 15 year old in disguise.
Along the way in his adventures, Rex gives the reader some advice for being a supervillain. This book was a different kind of book and I can honestly say that it will appeal to teens and even adults. Hopefully we will see more of Rex and his gang!
A story with an anti-hero at the center is a popular trend these days, from many movies, shows like Breaking Bad, books, they are all over the place. Also, sometimes the bad guy can be more interesting and charismatic character than the good guy, that too is nothing new. We have both of those things combined in this book, a bad guy, a real supervillain, who is our main character. Even though he clearly is the bad guy here, you also can't help but to like him. The plot is really fun, Rex is a teenager and a villain and that adds all kinds of cool, fun and interesting stuff to the plot. Other characters are also great, the whole ensemble is very magnetic and very well written. I really had fun with this book, it is a great idea done in the right way, with cool characters, dynamic plot and I can't really find anything to complain about with this one. Great stuff.
